What Is the Origin of the Occult?
Ericson: mythology is one part of the three different strains of supernatural thinking that i see happening before 19 33. The other two are pagan and alternative religious tradition and mythology. And then you have what I call border science, or gren wissenshaft, which is kind of an outgrowth of occultism. So many of these practices, whether occult or born or scientific, might seem faith based. But they are not explicitly linked to met logy mythology.
