CHAPTER

Pragmatism Pragmaticism

Pragmaticism is a term used to describe the philosophy of William Jamess and John dewey. The two men believed that what was, what was true was what was most useful t yo proved to be useful and efficient. But they had very different views on whether we would settle on one truth or if we have to accept a plurality of truths. Pragmatism has never really taken off as an academic discipline but it could help us understand how science works today.
