The Future of Media Is the Selfie Stick
The economics of media have to start to approach the economics of self produced media. We are between eras right now and there was a lot of surplus profit in the old era where cable bundles were attacks. And we're moving into this era, which has been going on for a long time, which is kind of everything's on demand. They just wrap into each other. What I find interesting about is like until we had a surplus to the point of infinity media, I don't think hate listens or hate reads and stuff really existed as much. But it is just because we have so much of it that this is now none of us any more.
