The Narrative of the New Testament
"I've never gone for the historicity of the New Testament," he says. "If you just kind of follow the narrative, not what Paul wrote ... it tells a story that more or less is consistent with each other." He believes Jesus was nothing too special until one event blew everybody's mind and then they believed on him.
