Anish Dansis is a professor of Jewish studies at the University of Toronto. She was looking for texts that could give an idea of what Yiddish culture was like in the Soviet Union during World War II. Her search brought her to the Vernatsky National Library in Ukraine, where she met Dr. Mila Sholehova. Anasthenius. Virigovsky Archive contains almost a thousand, maybe more unique Yiddish texts.
