The number one predictor of a healthy gut microbiome is the diversity of plants in your diet. There are fiber supplements that do exist that are chemically derived and not even like of plant origin. To me, my point of emphasis is on soluble fiber, which is the prebiotic type. If you have celiac disease, I want to recommend Wheat dextrin because it's derived from wheat.
