Is Twitter a Platform for Politics and Journalism?

Peter Bergen: I can't really see that quite how twitter monotises itself, in my experience, as really a platform for politics and journalism. But he has promised two things, and i think they're interesting and worth ting. One is that he will rid the platform of the bot networks. If you could do that, that might be good for public discourse. The other more tricky thing, which i do think is worth discussing, is verification. You can usi as ways of maintaining your anonymity, but still being verified.
