The Foreign Office's Operations in a Civil War Situation
There is a central room in the Foreign Commonwealth Office devoted to this. It's one of those where nothing else happens in that room except the emergency. People will be working extremely hard spending all the long hours. The last thing I'd say is you're also in contact with representatives of other countries because you're trying to work together, what do you think is happening, etc. And that will be happening locally and through capitals.
