What Is Financial Repression?
Interest rates have been consistently below the level of inflation since two thousand and eight. The difference is that first 12 years or 13 years of this period, er inflation remained relatively under control. My feeling now is that we are in financial repression phase to in which interest rates rise on the back of inflation, but they still remain below inflation. But nevertheless, the gap between the inflation n the interest rate and invlation allows this debt mountain to be reduced somewhat over the coming day.
