Why Are Interest Rates So High?
The solution in the US if it really came to it would be to make mortgages more portable to new homes. But then of course you've got to worry about if you do move the mortgage then what's the quality of the house you move to? So there'd be a lot of difficulties there. It always amazed me that we don't have 30 year mortgages in the UK you know why not. It would just make a lot of sense. We've covered a lot of the major asset classes here stocks bonds gold real estate and the story seems to be you'd rather rates are falling than rising for all of those sectors.
