Dr. Tucker: We should set up a structure whereby people who don't work for these companies, and people who will put the results of the studies they do into the broad general knowledge. That's how we should be learning about the platforms because, and as you said, they may not choose to do this. The company's about to go private and be owned by elon musk. Who knows if any of the stuff is going to continue under musk. I think that's the world we want to be in, not a world where we're reliant on a facebook whistle blower to suddenly raise attention," he says.
