Is There a Growth Mindset?
I've told the banker story to a lot of people, to friends, family and those who've come to hear me speak for over a decade. I use it as a personal example to convey the importance of rebounding from failure and not giving up. It took me about 48 hours to think, what a ridiculous way to hijack my own development. The stories we tell about our lives seem like gospel truth, when they are, in fact, a constantly evolving tale. If we could bring that to life, it's a comedy gold.
