With the invention of the universal timepiece we now have 24 hours in a day 60 minutes in an hour 60 seconds in a minute etc. right everything is now divided and so with this the understanding of productivity, process and efficiency enters into reality. This also has many connections to how cathedrals were built and how certain certain spatial arrangements were divided which then has an effect on painting.
