St. Thomas will make a distinction between substantial or sacramental presence as compared to what you will term dimension or quantitative or proper presencestantial presence is to say that okay there can be in a particular space physical space the presence of a substance so normally when we think about ourselves we think okay I am standing in this place who I am my substantial presence is localized in this place but it's also possible for a substantial presence to be in a place even though it's 3D is not also there.
