Murdoch had 40% stake in enormous broadcasting outfit called Sky in Britain. They were on the cusp of a transaction valued at $14 billion to take over all of Sky. This was a well run business making real money. And when Rupert Murdoch finally decided to sell much of his entertainment holdings to the Disney Corporation, they ultimately lost their 40% and sold that to Comcast.
