The Importance of Self-Care

Beauty is so much more than the word fashion. And to have these conversations about beauty now feels very revolutionary to me. I don't think that we should back away from talking about style at this time because style historically has been a reflection of our culture. Beauty is absolutely an act of rebellion. It can absolutely be a revolution in the way that I see drag queens interpreting beauty and using makeup as a weapon in a lot of ways or as something to subvert norms of masculinity or the male gaze.
