The bible uses many different pictures, analogies, if you will, to describe the state of unsaved men. When they're regenerated by the holy spirit, because they have faith in christ, then their given life. The problem is that the calvinists are theire mixing metaphors. Their taking physical death in spiritual death, and theyre making it the same thing when they're not.
