First Born Over Creation

Don't hear the phrase first born of creation to mean part of creation, but rather, first born over creation. In him, all things hold together. He doesn't just bring all that is into being; he keeps all that is in being. If you believe it, really believe it, might have a greater personal effect on you than believing he made you.
