Is There a Flooding Problem?
A British colleague said they're having more and more problems with flooding in England because everything is paved now. In the old days the rain would soak in where it fell, but if everything is concrete and asphalt then it's got to run off somewhere. Some places are using permeable types of pavers that allow the water to percolate through.
