The Future of Scholarly Podcasting

The danger then of just raw, anybody can make a podcast is that misinformation can spread. Scholarly podcasts should be able to open itself up to rigorous and critical examination. People are going to want to justify this as quote unquote real scholarship but also subject it to the rigor of peer review.
