What Do Jews Believe?
Judaism is not creedal in the way that christianity is. There's no central set of doctrines you can recite, like the nicene creed. The attempt to put together a discreet set of doctrinal points wasn't really done until the twelfth century with my monides and his 13 points of faith. What makes you a jew is not is not ascribing to a set of doctrines or a creed. It is belonging to a certain ancestrally related group that has a certain social history that goes back several thousand years.
