Hegel's Theology of Consensus

Hegel says life is a series of contradictions that we are trying to overcome. We don't end up solving contradictions, but going further and further into them. The first concept of god comes about as the eternal thing that does not change. But then, hegel says that concept of god gradually, overtime, goes through these various contradictions until you realize that god is self divided.
