The Complexity of Money

Money is not the captured value of something, it's the narrative or story of the captured value. Like a dollar actually isn't worth anything. It's just a piece of paper. We all agree it's worth something. And one more layer of abstraction is that most people don't have those dollars in their wallet anymore. They're checking their phone. So things are getting really abstract, very narrative based. You can see why we have a lot of anxiety around money. We've got a lot of emotions associated with it because it's a story itself like we're operating inside of.
