Fisheries science is really straightforward if you know your catch and can determine how much should be taken to sustain a catch for long term. Government fail or are unable to track the catch that is really made to limit the operation of vessels especially foreign vessel in their waters. "The sad thing is that we know how to deal with fisheries. The simple problem which is to manage fisheries becomes a non-soluble mess," he says.
