The plane landed on the grass about 890 feet short of runway 27 left. If they did not reduce the flaps, it's very likely they would have ended up going down on that eight 30 highway right there next to heathro. The landing gear kind of comes up through the wings and into the cabin a little bit. So fuel was leaking, but luckily, it did not catch fire.
