Is Barking Self-Reinforcing?

Many dogs find barking self-reinforcing. Barking as an expression of all emotions is almost in the classical side of things, right? So they express their emotions by barking. Dogs use whatever they enjoy doing in real life as a displacement behavior when whatever you want them to do can't be done at that moment because they're overwhelmed with stress. Love your dog's fear of kids so are most afraid of us and sniffing trails has nothing to do with feelings about being at trails. It doesn't actually matter unless you actually add something that causes the behavior to go down - removing the thing didn't work for me.
