If you eat highly refined carbohydrates, like white bread, we know that there are very powerful hormones in our body to tell us to stop eating. You can't just override them. It's like those restaurants that say, eat a 60 ounce steak and we'll give you a free steak. They're not giving away a lot of free steak. If you eat the white bread and jam, you can just keep eating and eating. And that's why after you've eaten, you're all you can eat buffet.
