The report points out that the algorithm accounts for 315 different attributes or variables to calculate someone's risk score. The Netherlands court of audit, which is an independent body appointed by the Dutch government, specifically pointed to quote unquote fluency in the Dutch language as an example of a variable that could result in unwanted discrimination. "When you know that A leads to B, and you keep doing A, it's not because B was unintended or unwanted, it's because that's what you wanted to do," he says.
