Dostoyevsky's Crimean Punishment
Dostoyevsky disassociates punishment with the crime. He just says, there is no er externally imposed punishment for for the murder. The punishment can be your remorse, your internal remorse, conscience, and then some religious transfiguration. But really, i think the dostoyevskys crimean punishment is its the end of the big european humanistic tradition of saying that after crime, there should be redemption.
