Toxic Shame and Loneliness
Toxic shame is the cover that surrounds us every time we're vulnerable and we have fear of vulnerability. Toxic shame is contempt towards ourselves for having feelings. guilt is good because it allows me to say I'm sorry, allow me to seek forgiveness. Loneliness, friendship, anger, passion, fear, faith, sadness, acceptance all become positives if used well. So now we get to the feeling we're all looking for, which is gladness. Gladness is an outcome experience. This is an outcome and it gives us joy. But joy is a ability to be okay in the midst of a life that has great sadness in it.
