Paul Ryan and DeSantis: A Comparison

DeSantis has a sort of Paul Ryan vibe in the sense that he was this kind of young, fresh-faced, very invested in his youth and health. And I think while DeSantis has sort of flirted with populism on a sort of culture war level, his economic instincts are still fairly Ryanite. Their vibes are similar. They kind of want to seem cool and young, but they're not cool. The Santas make doing politics look hard because he needs to prove that he's the hardest working all the time.
