Why You Shouldn't Hire a Publicist

A friend of mine has a PR agency that turns down the majority of clients who come to him because he doesn't feel like they are set up for success. He's looking at it and saying, look, you could hire us. You could pass a lot of money. Maybe we'll get you some mediocre results. But frankly, I just don't see us succeeding with you. And so what your friend is doing is guaranteeing a very long run as a successful publicist,. seeing quality clients, guaranteeing great placements. To me, that's a very, very good business decision.
