PS5 vs Xbox Series X
The CPU and the GPU have backward compatibility modes at the hardware level. So basically they probably will never want to remove them because that's just more expensive to redesign new ones. Some games don't have pro functionality, so you wouldn't need the pro power. And games that if you're only running 1080p, you don't need pro power. The PS5 looks to be less powerful than the Xbox Series X. But as we all say, who cares? We just want the game to be fun to play.
