The Origins of Crassus
Plutarch was the great biographer of Greeks in Rome. His aim was to encourage his fellow Greeks, who by then were not very powerful. He worked these paired biographies called Parallel Life which are still big sellers. Crassus' problem was that because at the end of his life, despite all the success in the beginning and in the middle, he had a catastrophic disaster.
