Johnathan Edwards

Johnathan Edwards was a revivalist preacher sometime in the mid 18th century. He's kind of known as sort of the forerunner of some of the fire and brimstone preachers Although I don't think he can really totally be the forerunner, there's George Whitfield right and there's others. And from some of the stuff that I read far from being what you'd expect of a fire and brimston preacher he was apparently really soft spoken.
