The British Empire existed before the fall of tartaria but they were sort of like subservient to tartaria same as many of the other countries it was the hunger games. Now that the tartarians are gone we can harness it anymore and because it's like free energy you can you can't make money out of it so you have to dismantle this technology in order to oppress people  and extract wealth from them.
