Immanuel Kant's Philosophy
I mean Immanuel Kant can certainly be difficult to wrestle with you know his critique of pure reason I remember reading it as a grad student and and having a really tough time with it. What he's doing here is kind of reversing the relationship between this subjective knower and the objects known that he felt had been presupposed by all philosophy prior. The way that our mind is organized and our senses are organized shapes a priori he would say which means shapes before experience the objects that are possible for us to see.
