The Lord Is Good to Those Who Wait for Him, Lamentations 325
Let us acknowledge that we are merely little children who must be fed upon milk. Let us humbly accept these graces and favors, and esteem them very highly. Not so much on their own account, but rather because they have been placed into our hearts by the hand of God. We should dispose ourselves to persevere in the holy love of God,. even if through our whole life we were never to experience any consolation.
