Mimicking Is the Only Way to Learn How to Do Anything
People think mimicking is bad, but it's the only way you learn how to do anything. Babies learn how to interact with the world by mimicking what they see grown ups around them do. Before you have a frame reference for how certain things can be done, you can't do them. So that's why the absorbing process is so important. You got to absorb new input before there's anything inside of you to draw from.
