Solve one catastrophe and make other catastrophes more likely. Or you can solve catastrophe as a whole and make distopias more likely. One of the drivers of the meta crisis is that we define problems too narrowly, and then we solve that problem, and our solution drives other problems. And so if you want to stop making he ata crisis worse, you have to make sure that whatever you're solving isn't making others shed worse.
