The Oxford English Dictionary Added the Non-Binary Pronoun They
This week Merriam Webster added the non-binary pronoun they to the dictionary. The Oxford English Dictionary focuses on history, like for example that we have been using they as a singular pronoun since 1375. "Why do we care what the dictionary says? The dictionary has no real authority over anything," said CNN's John Sutter.
