The State Is More Natural Than Not
Schiller: The state is, and we're talking about the nation state. It doesn't sound so nasty, brutish and short, right? He'll say it's consistent with the quote-unquote material purposes of physical man. And then there's probably a Hobbesian element because what it's opposed to is the moral state or the rational state. So I think there's some thoughts here about revolution.
