How to Build a Machine Learning Model?

The features are sort of the engineered inputs that go into a machine learning model. So if you have a bunch of let's say raw data about users in a system and maybe you are trying to predict like a product they might be interested in buying as someone who kind of you know knows a bit about what might predict what people might want to buy. Then you can build a feature that based on your raw data just extracts the age as a number. And so you are kind of like distilling down things that you think might be important to the model training system.
