Is Your Cell Phone in Your Peripheral Vision?
I've read a study and I can't remember the statistic on it, but you are X percent more distracted when your cell phone is in your peripheral vision. And if I just put it there where I can't see it anymore, the noise goes down. It's loud enough that if somebody needed me, I will eventually hear the phone ringing. But yeah, isn't it amazing how much quieter your brain is if you cannot look at your phone in bed? Yes.
