How to Become a Cosmetic Chemist
Many cosmetic chemists have degrees in chemical engineering. Most of what you learn about chemistry in college, unless you're working for a raw material supplier, it has very little to do with formulating. It's very helpful to have a chemistry background when you're formulating because you know the principles of emulsification, viscosity and all these important things.
