The Importance of 2% in Hotels
Hotels.com was a good, you know, sort of equivalent starting point and you didn't have to be like loyal to one. But now with it, 2%, I feel like it's pretty hard to justify going through hotels.com over booking directly through a loyalty program if you're booking a hotel that belongs to one. "I just can't see this 2% thing moving the needle for me," he says.
