The Importance of Unity

As a species we have common ideas. We all want to preserve the things that are good for our nature. And if we're arguing, angry, suspicious and fearful, rather than joyful, calm and rational, we're increasing our sad passions. Two heads are better than one when it comes to tasks. The more people working on the problem with the same goal, the better it will be. But excellence is as difficult as it is rare. For a salvation we're ready to hand could be found without great effort. How could it come about that almost everyone neglects it? I'll leave you with the last few lines of the ethics.
