Dantraline and Hyperkalemia

If a patient has MH we almost always end up bringing them to the ICU with continuous temperature monitoring put in an arterial line. We typically recommend giving dantraline via an intermittent bolus so one milligram per kilo every four to six hours but there are certain situations in which maybe an infusion would be better. In terms of management post-op whether to extubate or not is controversial. There's nothing wrong with extubating the patient but you want to keep that patient in-house for at least 24 hours.
