Is It a Felony Conviction That Prevents You From Running for Office?

If convicted of a felony, does that prevent you from running for president? I'm not at all sure that's true. States may bar convicted fellon candidates from securing state wighte and local offices. Look, as recently as some months ago, people thought it was insane, i the idea thet trump would want to run again. And so otherwise, i feel like i didn't prepare well enough for this bu by not focussing on the very specific question.
