Neurow scientists point out that our brains are prediction machines. Our brain's primary job is to regulate the energy that it takes for our bodies to en with the world. A key way to do that is to default to how we've seen or done things before. The expectation effect changes so much of our life, from exercise to medicine and sleep less.
